Town Supervisor

Hi, my name is Rod Votra.  I've been a resident of Parishville my entire life.  I reside in the hamlet with my wife Denice and our children Zach and Monica.  I'm currently employed by the St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Office (Correctional Division) in Canton.  Prior to taking a position with the Sheriffs Dept., I worked in and around our community as a residential contractor for approximately 20 years.  I was elected to the Town Council in 2003 and have been serving ever since.  My interests as your Town Supervisor are simple, create a reasonable tax base that allows us to enhance our community and improve our way of life here in the north country.  I enjoy working with the Town Board as we continue to develop new ideas from expanding our Park and River Walk project to making improvements to our Museum and sidewalks. We encourage input and advice from residents and look forward to serving you for many years to come.
