December 2, 1808: David Parish purchases land in St. Lawrence County, including territory that will become the Town of Parishville.
March 31, 1811: Luke Brown becomes Parishville's first permanent settler, with a home built near Parishville Center.
March 30, 1812 Luke Parish Brown is born, being the first non-Native American birth recorded in the Town of Parishville.
March 18, 1814 Town of Parishville is formed through an act of the New York State Legislature.
July 20, 1897 The first of five destructive fires in Parishville's central community that destroyed many of the town's early businesses and industry with a 26-year period.
December 10, 1910 Several businesses and industries are destroyed in a second major fire.
December 2, 1912 Town's business section suffers a third major fire.
April 18, 1913 Fourth major fire within 16 years devastates more Parishville businesses.
March 27, 1923 Fifth destructive fire destroys nine businesses and homes, including the original Parishville Town Hall.
January 29, 1934 Parishville High School burns to the ground.
July 1934 Parishville Fire Department is created.
March 1, 1935 Construction of new Parishville High School is completed on present-day site.
April 7, 1958 Parishville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary is formed.
April 27, 1959 Parishville Historical Organization is formed.
June 1959 Parishville Recreational Town Park and Beach opens.
August 1968 Major construction project to expand Parishville-Hopkinton Central School is completed.
January 1988 Dr. Max Thaler, Parishville's last town physician, announces his retirement.
January 4-24, 1998 Ice storm devastates northern New York, including Town of Parishville.

September 2008 Riverwalk Park is constructed in downtown Parishville, including gazebo, across Catherine Street from Parishville Town Hall.
