Hi, I am Connie Maguire and I am the elected Town Clerk/Tax Collector and Registrar for the Town of Parishville since January 2006. I am also the Record’s Management Officer for my town as well as a Notary Public.
Before that I was Deputy Town Clerk for 3 years for Retired Town Clerk Shirley Robinson. I am a graduate of Parishville Hopkinton Central School and am a Licensed Practical Nurse having graduated from Seaway Area Tech. I worked for a few years in the Potsdam Nursing Home right after graduation.
After needing a change from nursing, I worked in the retail field for 29 ½ years as a Pharmacy Clerk, Department Head, Office Clerical and as an Assistant Manager for the Fays Drugs chain (which later became known as Eckerd Drugs). When my children were in school I was active in school functions and helping in the classrooms. I have been involved in Brownies, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts with my children as well. I am the Treasurer of the Parishville Historical Association and am involved in the Parishville Garden Club. I enjoy working with my residents and was very involved in the planning and execution of the Bicentennial Celebration for the Town of Parishville in 2014.
I still live in Parishville in the home my grandparents lived in their entire married life. I have been married to my husband Dan for 38 years. I have two grown children, Kelly and Danny both who both live and work nearby. I have 2 granddaughters, Finley and Anna and 2 grandsons, Declan and Graham that I spend as much time as I can with.
Feel free to contact me with any issue you need assistance with and I will try to help, or point you in the right direction for assistance.
