Highway Superintendent, Steve Hart is reporting that the Lenny Road is now passable and work on the Perkins Road should make it passable by the end of today. Please continue to use caution on all Town roads as work continues, repairing shoulders and other washed out areas from the recent rains.
Town of Parishville - Code Officer Search
The Town of Parishville is actively searching for a Code Officer. Interested individuals may submit a resume to the Town Clerk, Connie Maguire, by mail @ PO Box 246 - Parishville, NY 13672, or by email to ([email protected]).
NYS Code Certified individuals will be given first consideration for this position. All others must be able to complete NYS Code Certification within 6 months if appointed.
The position of Code Officer requires a working knowledge of the building trades and the Uniform Code(s) of NYS. The Code Officer is expected to offer regular office hours, be flexible when scheduling site inspections and accommodate the public when regular office hours are not achievable. Rate of pay will be determined by experience and availability of the appointed individual.

The Town of Parishville has the following items available to the public through a sealed bidding process.
Garage doors with openers
3 - garage doors @ 14’W x 14’H – all doors have openers
3 - garage doors @ 12’W x 10’H – all doors have openers
10 - windows – various sizes
9 - man doors – various sizes
These items are currently part the old Fire Station on Catherine Street. To view these

All reasonable bids will be considered.
Sealed bids can be submitted to the Town Clerk no later than 08/29/24 @ 2:00pm. Bids will be opened and awarded on 08/29/24 @ 4:00pm in the boardroom of the Town Office. All bidders are welcome to attend. Bidders will be required to make full payment at the time bids are awarded. Checks can be made out to the Parishville Town Clerk.
All items will be awarded in, as is condition.
All items must be removed by the bidder no later than 09/08/2024.

Aug. 16, 2024
Highway Superintendent, Steve Hart reports that the French Hill and East Hill roads are now passable. He would like to remind anyone traveling secondary roads in Parishville to use caution in particular, Allens Falls and Ashton Roads. Although most roads are passable, there is still much work to be done throughout the next few weeks to return them to pre-storm condition. Our Highway crew continues to work hard, and we appreciate your patience with their efforts as they repair and maintain our local roads.
The following roads are closed to through traffic.

Cook Road
French Hill Road - Passable condition as of 08/16/2024
Perkins Road
We ask that everyone use caution and be patient as work continues throughout the community. Updates will be provided as closed roads are opened for through traffic. Town of Parishville Employment Application
The Town of Parishville is conducting a voluntary Dog Enumeration. It is New York State Law, that any dog over 4 months of age be licensed in the Township where it resides. We are asking if you have an unlicensed dog/dogs that you provide a current rabies vaccination certificate and a certificate of spay/neuter to the Parishville Town Clerk to get the licensing done. The fee is $5 per year for a spayed or neutered dog and $15 for an intact animal. We are authorized and required to fine any dog owner who fails to license their animal at least $25 per animal per week. You can call the office for more details- 315-265-2131 or [email protected]. A dog licensing form can be found on the homepage of the Town’s website-www.parishvilleny.us.
