Notice of Public Hearing
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Parishville in the Town Hall, Parishville, N.Y. on Tuesday July 28, 2020 at 5:00 PM.
This hearing is with respect to the proposed Local Law No. 1 of the year 2020. This local law allows the Town of Parishville, New York to exercise its right to opt out of the Tax Exemption provisions of Real Property Tax Law Section 487, pursuant to the Authority granted by paragraph 8 of that law.

The Transfer Station will operate as usual. We ask patrons, please do not congregate or engage with the attendant unnecessarily. This will help alleviate the chances of contamination through personal contact.

The U.S. Census Bureau is now actively recruiting people to work on the 2020 Census.
We are looking to recruit thousands of employees to work in the communities where they live.
These are temporary jobs, with flexible schedules, and can be part-time or full-time positions.
Hourly wage is $18 an hour for Enumerator/Lister; Census Field Supervisors are at $20.00 an hour.
Mileage is reimbursed at $0.58 per mile.
Jobs are for ages 18 and up.
No experience or educational requirement is necessary.
There are 2020 Census jobs that begin in March and in May. The selection process starts soon.
